Прослушал пока только четверть "The Age of Surveillance Capitalism: The Fight for a Human Future at the New Frontier of Power". Хоть тема меня захватывает, конкретно эта книга, увы, довольно скучна. Такое ощущение, что выкинув воду и реорганизовав структуру, книгу можно было в 5+ раз сократить без потери смысла. А не вот эти вот все 24 с лишним часа переливания и повторов...

Но 10% материала — действительно интересный взгляд на устройство нынешней цифровой реальности. Как в 20 веке непомерно обогащались нефтяные компании, выкачивая углеводороды из земли, так сейчас непомерно обогащаются тех-гиганты, типа Google, выкачивая наши поведенческие данные со всего простора Интернета.
